- Press the Windows key, type "control panel", and press Enter.
- Select User Accounts.
- Click User Accounts again.
- Near the middle of the window, click Manage another account.
- Select the account whose name you want to change.
- Select Change the account name.
- Choose a new account name (A) and click the Change Name button (B).
